Thinking of moving my rear speakers to the doors too, has anyone else done this?

I recently installed 4 new speakers in my regular cab truck.
The replacements in the doors made a huge difference but I hardly know the ones behind the seat are there.
I didn't expect any high end because of the seats but it doesn't feel like there's much added to the bass either.
I was thinking of moving the rear speakers to the lower part of the doors where I think they would contribute much more.
Has anyone done this?
I'm looking for a good spot that won't interfere with the window mechanism.

Then I was thinking I can remove the useless factory rear enclosures to make more room to tuck a future pair of subs behind the seats.

Sounds like a good project to me. It'll probly take some work and thinking but if you screw something up, you can always rip the door panels off a junk yard rig and poof, no more messed up doors. Or go the opposite route and buy the panels before hand to mess with and if it doesn't work, no harm no foul. :icon_welder: keep us posted!
