You did a nice job on fabricating that arm. It looks good.

It is more comfortable than the normal shifter lever because I built it to the way I drive and sit and for the aesthetics. I think the whole project cost about 70 bucks tools excluded, But I dont believe you can get much more out of a M5OD-R2/R1 transmission considering the obvious limitations and lack of perfomance parts. But for a good look why not?@Ramcharger90
Sorry I let this slip my mind... that's why I keep a notepad these days so I don't totally forget to follow up on stuff.
So other then giving you the Hurst "look alike" aesthetic... do you feel this mod gave you any other benefits? More comfortable shifter positioning maybe?
@Jim Oaks
Seems there is some interest in this how to. Cheap way to get the Hurst look without spending $400 on the real deal shifter. Might be something to add to the tech library.
But for a good look why not?
You guys can edit it how ever you want for a tech article doesn't bother me.I totally agree... I like the look.
I was makin engine noise didn't you hear it?How come your not screaming "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" ?
