Changed out my fuel filler house at the same time since it was acting up

Good idea...I used 2 x 4's and slid mine off the back the first time...got my niece to help me lift it back on though...

My neighbor had an overhead block and tackle and used that to lift his F150 bed when the filler neck rotted out (gee, do all Ford trucks have this problem???).

The Germans used to build access panels in their cars that do the same thing.

.......... if'n I remove the middle board---I can change out the driveshaft without laying in the mud/remove the 2 outer boards & change the shocks....don't even ask about how I flush the torque converter.........waaaaahahahahahhaaaa

I did the same thing as the OP, except my A frame was the joists in my garage ceiling, and my cable was a couple of heavy duty ratchet straps......my neighbors looked at me funny but I didn't see them rushing over to help me.
