that carb is the first thing to go, along with, but not limited to, the intake, the cam, the timing chain, lifters, oil pump. and some extra meat in the head ports. hmm, i see lossa porting in my future.

I know man, just giving you a hard time! Interior looks good, that's essentially what I am after - all black.

and if i was gonna do a 6 cylinder swap. it would be a 4.0 with a high lift cam, ported and polished head, and a twin turbo setup with about 18 pds of boost respectibly. running on pump gas with about 8-1 compression

I am surprised you wouldn't go with a Chevy 4.3L!

i would, cause i have one in my 95 chevy blazer. great motor, but a bit weak stock. only 195 horse. but it has seen abuse a time or three and is still holding its own.

personally, im strictly a v8 guy. i like em loud and fast. v6's and 4 bangers dont cut it for me. great as d.d but thats it.

i had the stock burgundy interior, but i took the bench out and replaced it with the mustang seat in the pics. and i had black carpet, black healiner, black vinyl behind the seat, and chevelle kid gave me two great door panels, but they were tan, and i was done with the 2 tone interior, so i dyed the trim, dash, and d-panels all black. still needs a second coat. but im going for a hot rod feel with my truck. so its gotta be all black. lol
