Myoldest sister is 82 I just found out she has Alzheimer's and Dementia and she's only about 10 years older than me it's kind of scary

That's the curse of being human and it's also the only use I see for having a dog.

A dog doesn't give a shit. I told my dog: "You're only going to live 9 years!"

My father had Alzheimer's and Dementia. Life's fragile, and you never know when it's going to be your time. Some of us won't live to see 82 like Burt did. Enjoy it while you have it.
