Hey there. I need to buy bolts for the tailgate support cables (they have long since been snapped and removed) -- just the bolt hole remains on the latch panel. What size do I need?

Ford bolts are fancy stepped ones, with T30 socket in them. I'll grab some pics in morning if it isn't raining.

That would be helpful! I have the Haynes manual ordered but it won't be here for a couple of weeks. I'm making a wild assumption in hoping that it will have this type of info included.

Even the factory service manual often doesn't list the info or part numbers. Check with Tasca and LMC truck. You might be able to find what you need through them. It might be worth a trip to a junk yard and try your luck there.
