Tailgate Light Bar

I found one that i really like that has scanning amber turn signals and reverse light but was wondering how they hook up to your electrical system. I know some of them plug in just like a trailer would but i dont have a tow package so is there even a way to use one with my truck or am i out of luck?

they come with instructions on how to hard wire them if you dont have the towing wiring harness. when i did mine i wasnt able to have them stay on with my running lights and blink and brake all together because of having to hard wire them. so mine blink and give brake lights thats it. but its still cool.
