Looks like a broke a link between the sway bar and lower control arm on the drivers side on my 2001 Off-Road.

I am in New Jersey working and was wondering if I can let it go until I get back home in Minnesota in mid-December. I don't have any tools here otherwise I would try to fix it. Probably rusted out at the connection to the sway bar. Right now it just clunks.

Your thoughts???

You won't die from it. I have seen many Rangers with that setup with both links broken and the owner never even knew.

Youll be ok. There will be a little body roll in the corners but that's about it. I removed mine for offroad abd it drives Fine on the street without them

Thanks, guys. I knew I would get a quick answer. If I get some time I will replace the broken one.

Thanks again.

I just had one of mine do the same thing and if weren't for my wife finding the bolt head and top bushing in the driveway I may not have known either....Although I had my suspicions it was about to go since the sleeve was splitting down the middle.

I am just going to have it done. Makes way too much clunking noise. Wish I had my tools here in NJ. Would do it my self.
