Supercharged 302 automatic

Like I said it's not mounted in that pic. I have the supercharger. Unless you're saying that's not a 302

What is it for a blower?

There is a number cast on the block, bottom passenger side. Should start with a D or an E to see if you have a roller cam or what your engine at least started out as.

D30 is weaker than a TTB35 and a 44 isn't much stronger. If going big and thru the expense of a SAS might as well go 60.

4R70 needs a computer to run. You can get standalone setups but they are spendy.

I looked all around the starter area the best I could and couldn't see it. I'll lift it when it's daylight and find that number. There's a few more parts but I don't have pics atm.

My friend recently sold me a supercharged 302 with AOD out of a mustang. My idea is to make an offroad 4x4 with an automatic transmission however sadly I'm somewhat lacking in knowledge of Ford parts interchangeably. I thought about using a Dana 20 with adapter but the adapter is expensive and questionable in offroad conditions. So I'm leaning towards an automatic tranny, transfer case, and axle swap for my project perhaps from a ranger or bronco II. Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated.
Mcshek: Is your offroad 4x4, a Ranger? Or were you just thinking of using Ranger components in your "rock buggy" for lack of better term? Are you expecting the vehicle to be road worthy? Or will it be trailer to and from the hills?

The easiest starting point for a V-8 Ranger is a V-8 Explorer - you might want to upgrade the transfer case to an F-150 full time case as the AWD Expo one probably isn't up for what you are looking for.

On the other hand, if you are building a buggy, start with an F-150 which has a 302 as it would have TTB which would give you way more travel, and components are more closely matched to V-8 power.
