super duty trac lok

I have an 01 super duty with a sterling 10.5 rear and was wondering if it can be rebuilt tighter and to lock up better like the tech article for the 8.8 trac lok? My truck has 95k on it and I have had good results with the trac lok but am soon gonna be doing f&r 4.56 ring and pinion gears and figured while I was in the rear I would rebuild it and try and improve upon anything I can without spending tons more $$$.

I don't see why not, as long as it's a clutch pack unit. Some of those bigger axles are Torsens.

Ok, it is a clutch type limited slip ford also calls it a trac lok

I found this video be sure and presoak the clutches with the slippery stuff before you put it together so you don`t burn them up the first time you take a corner.

I wonder if you can use the concave washer for the dana in a ford trac-loc and set up the clutches S-C-S-C-S-C-S and preload the gears and eliminate the S spring?
