I've got a '90 B2 that I'm scavenging parts off of to put into my '89 B2. I'm thinking about swapping steering wheels - the '89 has a plain ol' wheel, the '90 has cruise control and tilt and would be much better for long trips. Anybody ever tried this? Are there any tricks or warnings I should know first?

You need all the wires and control modules and etc for the cruise to work.

As stated above but otherwise a pretty straight forward swap. For the cruise to work you'll also need the plastic bracket that goes on the brake pedal and the vacuum switch it releases that is mounted in the aluminum brake booster bracket under the dash. It goes through the firewal to the cruise module. Most likely the wiring it'll need to plug into is already in your truck. Good luck and enjoy!
