As we have all been on many journeys in our life with OUR gas powered vehicles...as we have taken road trips in different vehicles we've had in the past or currently that we've had forever.

How many states have you driven your ranger thru? In 30 years of ownership of my ranger, it has seen 44 states on many road trips..most of them had no destination, I just got in and went.

Anyone who like to share, interested to hear trs stories.

hoping for 49 before 29.

Not my ranger, but when I was living in Austin TX, a buddy needed a 2nd driver for a mad dash... He had 3 days off work and needed to run to the Long Beach pier to pick something up. We took his Ranger with no AC and drove nonstop from Austin Tx to Long Beach CA in something like 26 hours (one slept while the other drove), spent 2 hours picking up the hardware, and turned around and drove it all back - so every state in between going down I-10...

I was sitting here thinking if I have ever crossed a state line with my truck (only owned 3 month, but it is a family vehicle that has been in the family since '96), and I don't think I have crossed state lines other than a dash to Laramie to pick up a buddy (from where I am that is not very far really).

If we talk about more fuel efficient 2nd rides I've driven to Blackey KY from Denver CO (attended Truckstock 2014) and Enderby BC Canada from Denver CO... KSC Space center from Denver (diverting through Houston)... put a lot of miles down, just been cheap and drove the more fuel efficient unless I needed the truck bed room.

oh, almost forgot, that 52 hour marathon behind the wheel - no cruise.... I just finished adding cruise to my own ranger due to that kinda behavior.

boring life for the Rangers. only Ohio, Michigan, Indiana & Kentucky.
Ohio, where I live.
Michigan, only 2 miles away.
Indiana, couple trips to The Tire Rack plus a few lottery runs many years ago. it's only 60 miles to the border so occasional encroachments.
Kentucky, last year a trip to buy a manual transfer case & shifter.

other vehicles, most states east of the Mississippi.

Something like 15 or so. Most of the eastern seaboard.

Broncos been in ME, NH, MA, RI. Haven't taken the latest ranger out of state yet.

I had my Ranger 19 years before it left the state.

Since then (in 2019) pretty much only going to TRS events:

Iowa
Nebraska
Illinois
Indiana
Ohio
Missouri
Kentucky
Tennessee

Bronco (since 2022):

Iowa
Nebraska
Missouri
Kansas
Oklahoma
Texas
Illinois
Indiana
Kentucky
Tennessee

F-150 (since 2022) LOL

Iowa
Nebraska

16 different states, probably 18 different Rangers.

29, mostly midwest to southwestern USA.

Not too many, NH, Vt, Ma, Ct, NY, NJ, and Pa in my 04 and 11 Rangers. My current 93 has been in just NH and Vt since I put it together. Vermont is only about 12 miles away so it's not much of a road trip. We usually travel in the Escape.
I forgot ME and didn't think to add Quebec, we vacationed in Bar Harbor for many years and my Father's parents were born in Quebec.

Well, as far as my Ranger or ST, just WA and OR. As far as any vehicle I have had 46 and Guam. I haven't driven in AK, ME, VT or NH. Everywhere else I try and seen all each state has to offer, each is unique and has amazing sights. I've rode in vehicles for sightseeing in Spain, Italy, Greece, Malta, Azores, Egypt, Dubai, Bahrain, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Isreal, Puerto Rico, Cuba, St. Thomas, Mexico, and Canada. Plans for northern Europe and UK are being worked on.

This is kinda funny to reflect on, I think I had my first '88 from 2006-2009. Then I had a '96 from 2010-13... another '88 from 2014 to the present, and my current '94 since February. Plus my '86, which I got in 2008. I'm thinking I've put something like 120-130k combined on all of those and I cannot remember a time when I took any of them further than about 100 miles from home. I know for sure that none of them have left western South Dakota.

My Explorer, however, - SD, WY, NE, CO, NM, AZ, UT. Will be adding IA, MO, IL, IN, and KY to that list in April.

in teh few years i have had this ranger, it has only gone through the corner of new mexico and into colorado and back home to south texas.

that trip from austin to long beach had to be rough. i have been on that trip a bunch of times and its rough doing it with stops at night. especially from san antonio to the border, man oh man is that a long 10 hours of nothing

we rolled through phoenix at 5pm going both directions, think it took us 2+ almost 2.5 hours to get across that town ...... sucked.. and death valley / arizona desert with no AC :(.
