Just lifted my truck and installed some new suspension parts;
Moog lower control arms
  • 4" spindle lift with upper control arms (got used like/new)
  • tie rods
  • 33x12.5x15 rims/tires (used)
For some reason when i turn left i was hearing some rubbing/grinding. Didnt notice any rubbing while looking at the usual spots until i seen some clean metal on my lower control arm. What should i do, grind the control arm? Grind the spindle? just enough to get them not to touch???

I would contact the company that made the spindles and see what they have to say.

Got them used, dono the maker. I think imma just grind a little bit on both pieces and see if that helps.

I'd be careful grinding the control arm, they are pretty thin. I would see if you can remove most if not all the material from the spindle since it's solid cast iron.
