So I got my new cluster with a tach in the mail yesterday and swapped it out. Its from an 89 BII so it should be a direct swap into my 92 Ranger right? Well everything except the speedo is working great. But the speedo is reading anywhere from 10-40mph higher than I'm actually going. Any ideas on how this happened or what i can do to fix it?

u need to replace the speed gear on the tranny i guess. theres info about that on the tech section. on how to fix the speedo when going with bigger tires.
remamber that the bII has larger tires than your truck. usually 235/75R15 vs 225/70R14 from the ranger
