sohc intake swap explorer to ranger

Just looking at some specs between a ranger 4.0 and a explorer 4.0 that the explorers have a little more HP and a considerable amount of torque. First off is the only difference the intake between these two engines? Would a swap even be reasonable if you could get a explorer.intake from little to nothing and would the swap work what is the differences between the intakes. I know there are better ways to make power just curious as to what you all though ..... thanks Ricky

The exploder intake is better but you may have issues with air filter connection. It is bigger so i'm not sure if there is hood issues as well. but the best one is 03. and i don't know if thats the only difference.
