Hey I just picked up a Smittybilt Trail Jack. Can I use the stuff made for Hi lift jacks with it or are those only for Hi Lift jacks?

The base on this one is wider than a Hi-lift. And I will say I love my smittybilt waaaaay better than any HiLift.

ok well what about the bumper lift stuff that is made for the Hi-Lift jacks. Also I have found that the jack falls down when you are lowering it.

I just wanted to add that the local TSC (Tractor Supply Co.) had a sale last week on a 48in. Reese Farm & Ranch Jack for $39.99. I decided against buying it cuz it looked to be pot metal casting. Anything that can possibly fail way out in the boondocks is not worth it-

The jack only falls down when you're lowering with no weight. Which isn't a horrible thing, expedites the process...lol And be sure to soak the mechanism with WD40 to keep it from sticking and jamming up. Great jack IMO.
