Skyjacker Vs. Superlift?

Well on 4wheelparts.com they are selling the 5.5" superrunner kit for 1200$...doesnt seem like a half bad kit, comes with all that the SKyjacker class 2 kit does...from what I can tell. Maybe I am wrong?

But that 1200$ is about the same price as the class 2 kit from skyjacker...you guys know what youre doing and I dont! haha

So what do you think...skyjacker class 2 kit, or Superlift superrunner kit?

The general thought is that Skyjacker has better quality parts. Either one will work fine but Skyjacker gets my vote.

I will vote for Superlift. It's what I have had for more than 20 years under my 85 and never had any problems with my stock truck on top of it. Neither one will survive jumping. Invest in the supper runner steering if you get the chance, it sure makes a difference in bump steer.

My Superlift stuff broke just as quick as the Rancho crap I had.

More broken Superlift:

Go with Skyjacker. The quality and durability is far better.

The Superrunner steering kit is worth getting however, although ONLY if you're equipped to handle repairing it's major design flaw, and that's lowering the centerlink down 2" so it actually puts the tierods in reasonable alignment with your axle beams (you'll need to have a 220V welder to do this).

Skyjacker by far. Superlift is great if your going from mall to mall. In the dirt it will not hold up.

As for price? It depends on what you can haggle. My 6" list with extended radius arms was $200. I needed new springs but it was worth it. Call some 4x4 shops and see if they have used stuff. Mine came from a shop. It came off a rolled truck. It's been working for 9 years now and has seen some air under the tires (not a lot).
