has anybody had problems with the shifter not going all the way up to 2hi? because mine seems to be stopping short.

I just swapped in a 1354m and right away mine felt like it was stopping short of 2hi but when i checked at the tcase it was in 2hi. I just assumed thats how the transfercase was, maybe I'm wrong 
If i remember right, you can adjust the shifter, maybe try looking into that.

got it
it seems someone changed out the clutch at one point and they removed the shifter and linkage. turns out the linkage is adjustable and it was setup right.
