Shifter bushings

I read the tech article about installing the bushing kit. Will this same kit work on my 87 B2? My shifter is getting pretty sloppy. Thanks...

Assuming the article was for the same tranny you have... yes, Rangers and B2s share alot of parts so many of the tech articles cover both.

The only trans that uses replaceable bushings is the M5OD-R1 and this trans
was not introduced until 1988

a 1987 will have one of two transmissions, the ToyoKoygo or the Mitsubishi FM145 and in either case the PLASTIC shifter tower is not rebuildable and LONG discontinued
