please explain
according to the test instructions for the timing check test on my actron code scanner
on this particular truck once the test is ready you check the timing. The test sets 20 degrees from where you had it timed to test the electronic advance. thats 10 BTDC degrees with the spout connector disc. I checked the timing before I started the test.. spot on 10 degrees.
FOR THE TEST for 91 and newer you disc the spout but this is an 88 so while you do disc for checking the timing you DON't for the test. it even gives this example (10 degrees + 20 = 30 degrees + or - 3 degrees so 27 is within range.
so are you saying that adding another 2 or degrees is what I should do? seems minute when you consider its a 3 degree margin either way. thus anywhere from 27 to 33 BTDC would be okay for the test.
talk to me some mo'. you can't insult me. I have no problem if you have to explain somethign like I am a 5 year old if I am missing something here.
