Are there any companies out there that make an SAS kit that's compatible with 2WD rangers?

I don't care much about quality as long as it doesn't explode going down the road and everything lines up right. I can upgrade parts as I go along.

do you want it to stay 2wd or go to 4wd? JD basically is bolt on to SAS

Go 4x4. I would end up swapping my trans out for an auto with a t-case, and running a driveshaft down to the axle.

Use what ford gave ya! Besides a track bar bracket and crossmember pretty much everything else bolts on..... EBD44, 78-79 frame brackets and ford radius arms.

I have them, the crossmember and the trackbar and bracket sitting in the barn.... come get them!

It may be cheaper to ship them to him instead.

Check my build. It was a 2wd.

I think the James Duff is for a 4wd to sas kit. Don't think it will work on a 2wd crossmember. Could be wrong though.

I just checked it out, where did you get your spring buckets and link brackets? I see on there that you had some issues with the steering, what did you end up doing to fix it? Unless you haven't gotten there yet.

The spring buckets are stock buckets but the shock part was cut off and an F250/F350 shock tower from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard CLICK ME was welded in its place. The link brackets were from Ballistic Fabrication CLICK ME that I welded a piece of 4" angle iron.

The steering is about perfect. There is very minimal bumpsteer. At times you don't even notice it.

90% xj stuff. The only thing that is not is xj is the pitman arm side of the draglink is from the ranger and the rest is xj. If u read my 89 sas build there is more info on the original build. The 93 build is all the parts from the 89.
