Hi I'm dusky lim from the Philippines.
I have a 1998 Mazda B2500 with a WL-31 I4 diesel engine and manual transmission.
I recently turbo-charged the engine and the power's great - but I have a problem.
The engine produces so much more torque that the clutch is slipping.
I installed a new clutch disk, pressure plate and release bearing (kit from EXEDY) BEFORE I installed the turbo.
But it still slips.
I recently found a few suppliers of high performance clutch kits from the U.S.A.
The only thing is that they can't say if their kits will fit on my engine.
My question is:
Will the clutch of a US Mazda B2500 or Ranger (gas) fit onto a diesel Mazda B2500?
Thanks a bunch in advance.
Best Regards,
Dusky Lim
