Hello Enthusiasts,
I became owner of a 1998 Ford Ranger 2.5L RWD with 93K miles last week. It has the stock instrument cluster without Tachometer. I watched some YT videos where owners have been able to swap with a cluster with Tachometer.
At the local junkyard, I found an identical size instrument cluster of a ford ranger from late 1990s to early 2000s. But the instrument panel is from a 4WD Ranger with vehicle theft alarm.
My vehicle is RWD and doesn't have vehicle theft sensor. Requesting members to comment if I can make the swap.
