Not my F****ng problem.
So like a dummy, I did a little work to some wiring for a TDI in the ranger without disconnecting the battery. Now I have a run-on situation when I turn the key off. I can pull either the PCM relay on the Ford side or the TDI side. Both are wired into the Ford PCM relay to come on like originally intended. The Ford prints say there is a power diode on the Ford side and I'm thinking maybe that. But I can't find it. I'll be back in it this morning. Anything helps. Thanks!

If you have all your ignition "on" wires all tied to one common point, sometimes something will feedback power and keep things running. The alternator on wire is famous for this.

I'll keep that in mind. I haven't looked yet as I found the TDI alternator will still excite and charge of you rev to about 2000 rpms first. That tidbit came from a guy with 3 TDI swaps right now. I'm gonna let it run the way it is for now.
