reviving the old Bronco 2

I just recently picked up an old 86 Bronco 2 with a 2.9 and manual trans, that has been sitti ng for a few years , it runs currently and stops ....,any tips or ideas on things that I should be changing first to make it reliable ....things that I will most likely have problems with ? I haven't even tried the 4 wheel drive yet....I just want to make it reliable first so I can drive it ....I will be changing the belts and hoses and stuff like that just so I don't have any problems right off the bat cause they all look real old and the belts are s quealing like crazy , I bet I woke up the whole neighborhood leaving for work at 530 in the morning .
