Hello All,
I have a 1992 Ranger XLT 4.0 with A/T. I need to replace the Vacuum Modulator. I've read that the 1992 Explorer has an access panel on the tranny hump, can any one tell me if the 92 Ranger has the same? I would rather remove the seats and carpet to access the VM to replace NOT remove the Cat-Converter. Can anyone help?

You should find
On the passenger side of the automatic transmission ( I believe it's behind a heat shield )Unfortunately I do not know if you can see from underneath the seat and carpet
