ive taken all the computer stuff off my 1983 2.3 Ranger and i want to take the feedback carb off and i need ideas for a replacement carb.

I`m not sure but on my 83 2.8 I was able to use a earlier carb for the same motor im sure someone here knows what carb fits that motor there is a holly that needs an adaptor plate I have heard of and maybe there is a motorcraft you can just bolt on is it a two barrel maybe you can take the feedback solenoid off and just put a block off plate there
