I got rearended and the person who hit me is giving me the money to replace my bumper. Anyone have any instruction on doing this or anything?

Real simple to do with basic socket wrenches.. I pulled the one off my "Splash", sanded and painted the steel to match my truck (silver). When you take the bumper off, just use some wide mouthed channel locks to squeezed the plastic tabs together that hold the plastic cover onto the original bumper and take your time doing so.. Also, I ALWAYS paint the inside of the bumper with spray-on undercoating to keep them from rusting.

I can't seem to find the bumper for my truck.

Its a flareside/stepside/splash side, what ever you want to call it.

its the black with the chrome.

Anyone know part # or where I can find it for a good price?

Try checking your local auto salvage yards for some and take a good look at them if you find one.
