Do they sell kits to replace the the 2 doors and ignition with matching keys?

My passenger door cylinder was attacked with a screwdriver and I only have 1 key. So I figure why not just replace the whole lot.

I realize I would need to have the new keys programed.

When you purchase the door lock cylinder from a dealership, the cylinder can be built to match you current key(s).

Just did that last Thurs. for a customer.

locksmith can re-key a door lock for your key, and can make you a second key. If you have a 2 PATS keys, you can program the third or more from there. Procedure for programming is in the truck manual.

I guess that really is a more economical way to go about it.

Thanks.

i believe the front half of the key opens the door and the back half starts the truck. at the dealer they will cut a matching key when you buy the door cylinder so it will work in both the door and ignition and match your factory key without having to get both the door cylinder and ignition.
