Replacement door handle/panel screws

Hey Everyone,

I did a quick search of the forums and didn't see what I was looking for. I'm sorry if I miss a previous thread which covered this.

Well... I just bought my second Ranger! It's a 2000 3.0L 2WD Supercab. I'm psyched! It came up from AZ so it's virtually rust free! (It's first New England winter will fix that )

So, I've begun going through and tying up all the loose ends, for example:

- Obtained a replacement for the damaged side view mirror
- Replaced and programmed keyfob
- Ordered new lock acutators (Should be here today)
- new front plate holder

But... there's one thing I haven't been able to find, and since the closest u-pick junk yard is quite a haul away, I haven't tried that yet.

On my driver's side door, one of the two screws that holds the handle/door panel is missing. Does anyone know where I can possibly order these screws? I'm usually pretty good at tracking down parts, but this one has been elusive. I mean, I'm sure I could take out the other screw and find a match in length and thread, but I'm doubtful I'll match the color (black) and the head (If I had to classify it, I'd guess it is some variation of a pan head).

So... I'll be putting the new mirror on and the lock actuator in, so I'd love to be able to button the door up nice and tight when I'm done. Do you folks have any leads on replacement door screws?

Try your local parts place. It that does not work I would get one of the other screws you have from a door panel and take it to Ace Hardware and see if they have one like it. It can't hurt to try this, Bro!!!

I have the same issue but I don't have the screws or the clips that the screws screw into on the door. I can't find them anywhere.
