I was told that it has a relay between the ignition and the starter. It was installed in 94. I want to take it out because it comes on sometimes without being set and I can't get it off and the " kill switch" leaves me stranded. What do I look for and how would recognize the relay? Thanks for any help. Plus will I have to take out the ignition. Thanks

I do not understand your question huummm starter relay look this fender driver side mount

Depends on what kind of alarm it is, I'm also not going to go into detail of removing an aftermarket alarm in an open forum. However, you should have a button or switch associated with the alarm and if you follow the wires from them, they will go to a box, usually plastic. Inside the box is usually a relay.
