Recomend me the best 35" mud tire

no one has mentioned the new Goodyear MTR'r. I hear a lot of good things about them and I think they look sweet.

I'm running them, and I can't say a bad thing about them....but I have yet to try them in winter. They are as quiet as an all terrain on paved roads, they work great on rock and clean fairly well in mud as well. I (along with 21 others) put just shy of 1000miles on them in a week mostly rock crawling, bit of mud and some interstate and we only had 3 flats the entire time. Check the U.A. articles in the newest issue (November) of Petersons for a look at the terrain we were going through. Oh, and I'm running the 37x12.50R17's.

Ordered the same tires i have in 12.50 radials. I just like the side lugs and agressive tread. Hope they get here before the weekend, I want to take my boat out sunday.

Well, scratch the mickeys. Mickey Thompson doesn't expect any stock until last September early October.
Tirepackage.com hooked me up with a set of 4 BF Goodrich KM2s instead, much cheaper.
They were my second choice, third being procomp xterrains.

Say NO to XTerrains....absolute junk.

^^^What he said...... Never seen a set hold up well, and they're bald in a year or less on everything from jeeps - 1 tons...

everyone and their dog has km2's and they all seem to like them, so it is safe to say they are a good tire if you are wanting them

Anyone have experience with these tires?
138 a piece, the cheapest tire I've seen, hell, my car's tires cost me almost that much a piece.

i had these in a 31-10.50r15, and the only note was that they really did dig backwards better than forward, so i ran them backwards during winter, and never even locked in my hubs... and they were silent compared to the claws they replaced

My BFG KMs are just completely torn to shreds from wheeling (I've never had tires get so chunked up the steel cords are being exposed), I don't know how much better the KM2s would fare. I'm leaning (probably against my better judgment) toward those new Goodyear MT/R Ks, they seem to be a lot more true to their size than a lot of tires (and I want something just a tiny smidgen bigger than what I have now, but not quite a 37).

Wahlstrom1 and I wheeled the heck out of the new Goodyear MTR's. I was very impressed. Much better that the BFG muds I was running before!

I ain't worried whatsoever about wheeling performance, it's street manners.
I have the old-style MT/Rs on my Ranger, and as they've worn in a ways, they're starting to mimic extra-wide Swampers in several ways (I've had similar reports from others too, but haven't gotten any yet from anyone with half-worn or better MT/R Ks).

Well for Mud tire I have to say Boggers, Denman Groundhawgs (out of business, good luck there), TSL Bias.
Towing, snow, other terrain (BFG ATs) just replaced a set with over 65,000 miles and still not down to the TWI. They were abused, plugged, hauled my H-Ds around the country, off-road, etc... Even did awesome in the Missouri Ice Storm of '06! Dang truck felt like it ran on rails.
I also have a Friend in Oklahoma swears by the Hankook Dynapro MTs. He says they work great on his 1-ton flatbed around the slop of an oil rig and not too shabby on the road. He said he got about 60,000 out of his last set.
