ok so the back of my truck is sagging pretty bad. i bought the truck a few months ago and it was fine, the i loaded it down with scrap metal and the back of the truck never came back up. it has blocks so i figured the weight of the metal on the springs with the blocks under it killed my leaf springs.

i put an add-a-leaf and after 2 hours of work in 90 degree weather i stepped back to look at my work and....no change at all :annoyed: i tried to find 4 inch lift springs but cant seem to find anything. can someone give ma ANY ideas.

Get fresh springs. Rear sagging happens to older trucks and women.

PS. You may want to make sure no mounts broke making the ass appear to be low.

yeah i know nothing is broke i was under the truck today. i know to get new springs but i want to get rid of the blocks. when i got the truck it had stacked blocks, i just have no idea where to find springs so i can keep the 4 inch lift but get rid of the damn blocks. thanks

Most spring shops can custom build leaf springs. Check out the Yellow Pages. It probably won't cost as much as you think.

I looked into lift springs to replace my blocks and the only company I could find that listed them for the ranger was Skyjacker. If I remember correctly, they were about 400 bucks. That's why I still have add-a-leaves and blocks!

you can get extended shackles unless you already have em. then grab up exploder springs(10 bucks a piece) and your ranger springs and add 1 or 2 of the ranger leafs into the explorer pack. this will help since your ranger springs are crapped out then they wont ride as harsh but they will ride harsher. so it would be like 3 explorer leafs and 2 ranger leafs and then you would only need a 2in or 3in block. it is better than nothing. I got 3in lift with extended shackles and only the explorer pack.
