Could a 88 ranger cab be put on a 86 bronco II frame? and could the bed be shortened to fit?
thanks

Can I simply remove the bronco body and place the ranger cab on? or do I have to do some modifications?

yea you can do that, i think the rear most body mount will need to be fab'd up

yeah the ex cab ranger rear-most mount will line right up, a std cab ranger needs one built for the rear, most guys just grind the rivets off the mount and move it forward, drill the holes, and bolt it to the frame with 1/2" grade 8 bolts (stronger than the stock rivets)

How hard would it be to fab up some new body mounts

There is a pretty beat up one driving around my town with a plow... If the body was better, it would look pretty cool

fabbing up mounts wouldnt be hard. if you wanted you could use some angle iron and probably weld some gussets on it for extra strength if u wanted

Would the bed look funny because the wheel base on the bronco II is shorter?

here's the body mounts i built to set my BII body on a chev frame

but it is much easier to just move the stock mount than to build another one
