thanks man, but i ended up findin somethin bad. where the bushings are on the front. they shoved threw the metal when i ran into the bank, so now the metal that the radius arm goes threw is bulged out. ................any suggestions?

you will need to replace the radius arm mount....

pretty easy to do, just 2 rivets per side and a couple bolts....have it done in no time....

remove coil spring.loosen axle pivot bolt.remove spring lower seat and stud from radius arms.

remove radius arm-to-axle and radius arm bracket bolt.remove nut, washer and bushing from rear of radius arm at frame bracket.remove radius arm

Since you need to remove the radius arm bracket anyway, you don't need to winch the axle forward. Just remove the rivets and bolts holding the bracket in place, remove the big nut on the rad arm, and remove the bracket. Then you can change the bushings, bolt up the new bracket, and you're done. That's the way I did mine, except I reused my brackets.

i've done them this way too. since the radius arm bracket is coming off anyways, there is no reason to remove the springs or rad arms or anything.

i got that off of alldatapro .its the "right" way but i just cut the rivits too .its easy

when i did mine i pulled the whole axle out and did the axle pivit bushings too. Truck felt a lot better with all 4 new bushings
