If i am in neutral the radio works fine and if i am in 1-5 it only works when the clutch is in? this ever happen to anyone

sounds like your radio is wired to your NSS lol

lol its funny because my friends truck just started doing it too... my radio stays on just the sound doesn't work unless i press the clutch

that is messed up!

you need to go smack, who ever installed your radio, with a salmon

soooo... go to ford and show them the freak show? lol

i'd rather try and fix it then pay someone to...and my friends only works when he hits is brakes(auto trans) lol maybe its all the rain

Does it have the same issue even if the truck is/isn't running?

I'd start off by checking for a loose connection behind the radio, it's easy to take out.

After that maybe jerry rig the safety switch on the clutch so that it reads as always pressed in?

is there a good way to remove that switch or bypass it?

sounds like you need to call ghostbusters

no making dumb posts when someone's asking for help on a problem, unless you're ALSO going to help in that same post

i guess it was just from condensation from the ac and the rain..took a heat gun to the radio and it works right now.
