Anyone know where I can get tool required to remove clips in fuel line at high pressure fuel pump?

you don't need disconnect tool. you need a screwdriver

Well I usually buy screw drivers at the hardware store.

I believe that has the easier quick connects where a screwdriver is all that my be required along with a few choice cuss words. The garter spring connections up at the engine are a different story. The tools for those are available at parts stores, but you don't have to worry about those for changing a fuel pump.

Unless of course the OP is referring to the fuel rail as the "high pressure pump". I wish I didn't have to think about posts like that, but last week we had somebody post and call a sway bar the "rack and pinion".

Any good ideas for containing fuel loss/mess? Since the pump appears bad I assume it may not be too bad.

Put a pan down

There is a low pressure pump, lift pump, in the gas tank so it will prevent the siphoning of gas in the tank out the open fuel line.

Pump in the gas tank and high pressure pump in the frame rail both share the same power wire, splice is near the high pressure pump.
This wire only has power for 2 seconds when key is turned on, but each time key is turned on
