Questions on cutting/extending beams

So i read multiple article and know how to do it almost completly. My question is will doing it like this

solve camber problems from lift, or will i still need drop brackets?
 
As far as I understand it, not needing the drop brackets and being able to fine tune the angle for your suspension is the point of a cut & turn.

For what i was trying to do i am just going to be extending it straight out the way it was. I dont trust my skill enough to try and get the angles perfect on both
