ok so i have a 94 ranger with the 2.3L & A company messed up & sent me 2 clutch master cylinder & slave cylinder kits that are completely filled & bleed. Looking to sale the extra kit but its listed for only the 93/94 ranger with 2.3L. Is the 3.0 & 4.0 having the slave connections on the passenger side of tranny? or is there a difference for the connection style? The connections shouldn't matter as this kits lines are matched to the slave that comes with the kit. Also why would it only be for the 93/94 Ranger? Should be able to be used with other years as well as the mounting of master cylinder is the same over several years.
I need a new throttle cable as the one on truck is holding by a few treads of cable. It was recently discontinued from Ford so it hasn't been long enough for the after market world to start stocking them.
Again this item is only listed for the 93/94 Ranger 2.3L. WHY? Shouldnt one be able to be used for the 95-97 yrs or even newer or even a longer cable for the 3.0 or 4.0 V-6 engines.
Ford parts has ordered a 98 2.5 cable for me to see whats the difference
Gonna try a bone yard today for the correct cable & check out other options while at the yard.
