Is the return line a pressurized line in a fuel injected system . I don't understand how JB weld used on that line could be sucked into an injector. This is according to info given me by the previous owner tgat gave up on this truck. This is a 1994 Ranger with a 4.0. I went to remove the fittings and discovered that its the return line that he tried to patch. Thats the one with a clamp on it.

Good one. Quite relevant.

So whats yer issue? Cant figure it out? Too bad people like you have nothing better to do but mess with those that are taking this forum as a great source of help. None which you have.

If the return line is on the FPR(fuel pressure regulator), on the engine then no, it is at 0psi its open at the gas tank end, so it just has flow but no back pressure

If you have a 1998 and up, one fuel line at the engine, and a 3 port fuel filter, then the return line on the filter does have pressure, 55-65psi pressure, as the FPR is inside the gas tank

If pieces broke off and flowed through the line they would end up in the tank and not the injectors because they would have to get through the pickup screen and then the fuel filter to reach the injectors.

Dirtman is our comic relief but when he does give advice he is knowledgeable in that subject. His comment IMO was meant towards the way it was previously repaired.

Well..God bless the.Dirtman. I guess at this point (based on what you described ) I will proceed with new connectors o the return line. Then once all back together I will check each injector for faults. I had a feeling that attempting to patch a return line could not introduce a blockage at an injector. .Even the fuel filter would have caught it. . Still gonna press on. Thank you sir.
