Has anyone out there tried to do this? I have an 85 nose with a 56 pickup grill on the 92, and looking to install a step side box

Shouldn't be any harder than the work you've already done. Welcome to TRS by the way.

If it's a short bed truck, any flare side bed through 2011 will bolt on. You might not use all bolts holes (later models had extra), and you may have to do some wiring for the tail lights, but the bed itself will bolt on.

Might need the other filler neck hoses.

By the way, we would love to see pictures of what you've done so far. Sounds like a great project.

Would be awesome if you could find this style if aftermarket stepside bed. I think Southern Coach made them.

That would be the ultimate goal. I've seen a stepside s-10 from the same era that looked VERY similar.

Eons ago there was a truck on ebay, the guy narrowed the factory bed and used dually fenders to make his own stepside.
