What do you guys think of the pulse plugs that have been advertised , a buddy of mine put them in his 95 250 with a 460 and he said it had alot more power but didnt idle for shit , so he replaced them with bosch +4's which i told him was a bad idea

i think theyre like the e3 plugs, ment for trucks that burn oil or run rich

If they were cheaper I would surely try them. I am not one to buy into crappy gimmics especially with sparkplugs..... but I think in principle they would work great if you got the $$$

Think about this for a minute...
Electricity always goes to the straightest path to ground with the least resistance.
The spark will only shoot to one of those electrodes, regardless of whatever hype blah blah whatever, one of those grounds is closer to the electrode. The little demo things that show this crazy spark are done in open air, the story isn't the same under combustion pressures. It takes more power to shoot a spark under compression, also that spark is shot straight and a lot more directly to the nearest ground.
Which leaves you with pointless grounds on your plugs, and your money in someone else's pocket.

Put shortly, multi-ground spark plugs are a gimick.
Though there are ways of cutting and clocking conventional plugs that will actually gain horsepower, but even those effects aren't felt in any engine under 600-800 horsepower.

NGK or Motorcraft plugs are your best bet.
I've never had a single problem with my NGKs.

Total SCAM!!!!

Technically wrong! Putting a capacitor across the plug electrodes will slow the voltage transition from the coil.

Too high of a cost to try. As is, the Ranger has the Bocsh Plat's. Kawasaki KLX 250s has the NGK Iradium. But my Craftsman riding lawn mower does have the E3 plug in it. No difference in power. Thou I should probably pull it to check the condition of it, has at least 30 hours on it, and 131 hours total for the engine.
