Im curious if theres any products that actually work to help restore compression. I just want to bandaid my low compression in 2 cylinders for now until I can replace the motor this summer. Was going to throw some lucas oil stabilizer in the oil and give that a shot.

I have used restore on a car I once owned. It helped. I guess it all maters where the compression leak is comeing from.

haha, hopefully with the new motor.
I think its my valves leaking causing the low compression.
If it's your valves I doubt Restore would help. I have used that stuff before and really couldn't tell a difference.

Yeah restore might help on worn cylinder but if it is valves or broken rings aint gonna do nothing.

I used that Lucas Oil additive for quite a while...the one that comes in the tall skinny bottle...but I would only put in a litre at an oil change...it did help a bit but in cold weather it made things really sluggish...
Best thing is to redo the rings...unfortunately...

I had an old 2.8 v6 ranger one time sooo worn out i put 85w-140 in it 
but there in no tech in a bottle i promise oh and drove the truck this way for 2 yrs and had to add a qt every 1k or so

if you think it's your valves you could have some really bad deposits on them... you could do a trick that is old school....
put about a pint of transmission fluid in your intake (slowly), then mist water in there from your hose... don't do a lot, just use a wide spray and only have one part of the cone go in.... don't worry about the dreaded water lock as your not putting enough in there to do that....
the water will make the tranny fluid crystalize and break up the carbon... then you just wait for it to clean it's self up before shutting the engine off (normal exhaust, no smoke)... then you might want to add a fuel injection system cleaner... Zmax does a great job of breaking up carbon... all the way down to the O2 sensor, but it's $20... you can go with lucas' fuel additive for a few tanks and you'll notice a difference.
