I’ve replaced the TPS on my 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3L and it’s still running rough and everything. I let it idle for 10 mins then, I drove it and started to rev up even more then it used to with the old sensor. Does anyone know what to do?

the TPS sensor monitors the position of the throttle plate.
it's basic function is to tell the computer somebody just stepped on the gas. or released the gas pedal.
that gives the computer a quick warning that more/less fuel will be needed, before the oxygen sensors can say how much.
if your idle is revving up look for other sources of air getting into the engine.
