Hey guys
So the plan is to add a powertrax no slip to my ranger this summer as im getting tired of the one wheel spin of death and the crappy traction control. My question is has anyone installed one on a ranger that has the traction control and roll stability feature? Im just wondering if anything will start acting up with it.
Also i work out in camp in Northern Alberta and my wife drives the ranger during the winter, so is this asking for trouble? Shes a good driver, but thats in her front wheel drive car i dont think she has ever driven a locked rear end before. Im more concerned about her safety than being able to wheel better. I plan on running studded winter tires as well.
My understanding is they work when torque is applied to the unit and it will lock up. We live in a fairly mountiouns region that has tight switchbacks up to our house, again is something i should worry about?
Thanks
