possible blown head gasket??????/

ok so i went and talked to the ford dealer and i got some free help wow im shocked they helped for free lol anyways they said there is air in the system and the rangers a very hard to bleed out the air i told them i ran it for 45 minutes with the cap off they said it can take longer sometimes just depends on when it feels like bleeding out all the air they said if u cant get all the air out let them know and they have a new machine that sucks out all the air and puts nothing but coolant in there and they would only charge me for an hour which is $115 an hour here in alaska sux i know but might just do it it will save me down the road i have a feeling it will lol well if anyone else got any easier ideas please let me know thank you all for your help

ok so the new heater control valve i put on started to leak again so i got a new one havent put it on but what i did is got 5/8" straight tubes and put them inplace of the heater control valve to see if that was the problem it worked until yesterday now the thumping sound is back im sick of this truck now cant figure it out this is the first time i have ever had this problem and ever had a problem with a ford my older ranger never did this and im about to set it on fire or i hope it eaither gets hit then insurence will cover it and i will never buy another @#$%^&*( ranger again this sux i did love my truck and ford people here they are f@#$king stupid i think it is a poor piss piece of shit they through together or it a should of been a recall but they not going to do that to much work for them and to expensive to do and to many people having the same problem they try to tell me oh people online are dumb i told them well not a million people can be wrong so there for u are fu#$ing stupid and i walked out that damn dealer pissed off worthington ford sux ass those guys are stupid there damn guy told me to burp the system i told him i burped that damn thing raised up in the front in the air for over 45 minutes it told me to do it longer so i did try that still the same problem truck is a nice truck but a piece of shit my opion im done with it i hope it gets stolen or hit im done with it cant figure it out all i wanna say is thank you all for helping me im going back to nissan never had any problems with nissan ohwell hope you guys having the same problem figuing it out cause i never did well good luck everyone and thanks again
