What a #$@%& nightmare. Doing the pcv valve is annoying enough.... I dred the day i have to do the egr or rear coolant lines.

add a hpfp more sensory and turonatinz... and it really gets crowded.

all the toobz from the whirrly gig...

and fawk yeah i am drinking....i just got out of work...well...i am going to bed now...its late.

they got those four hundred dollar turbo kits on ebay that bolt on...or supposedly bolt on.

probably explode the impellers off too.

try it.

forgot to mention, it's an '02 complete with intake flapper. the flapper will leave the building asap. so will the electric thermostat/heater thingie.

Great pictures thanks :icon_thumby:

You can certainly tell this Mazda L engine was designed for transverse mounting in FWD cars, you wouldn't see all that stuff on the rear of the engine on a longitudinal mount rear wheel drive design

Heater in thermostat is a monitored system so you will need to leave the heater attached or CEL will stay on all the time

this engine is going into my 2005 which doesn't have the heated thermostat.
