I am replacing my PCV valve with a purolator model pv-225 valve and I noticed my stock valve has a 90 degree plastic elbow attached to the top of it that the PCV hose connects to. Is there any way I can remove this from the old valve and put it on the new one? My truck is a 99 with a pushrod 4.0

COme on, no one has an answer? Please help me, I beg of you. (Would be on my knees if I wasnt so comfy in my chair:icon_cheers:)

as far as the haynes manual says, you just pull that peice off and install it on the new one, they even put a note in that section covering its replacement, warning you to not throw the old one away with that elbow on it becuase the new one will not include it.

They suggest using warm water to soften the rubber so it will slip on the new one easy....

theres your answer:icon_thumby:
