I have 1994 Mazda B3000 extended cab and I found out that it's required to remove the seats to take off the seat belt buckle... easy, breezy for the driver's side... 4 bolts ALL EASY too get to and remove... sweetness... I want to take off the passenger side seat belt buckle since nobody rides with me.

now the passenger side not so much... I took the 2 front bolts off... easy but the back 2 I can't get to as easily as the drivers side... the passenger side doesn't move up as much as the drivers. How in the world do I access the 2 rear bolts under the seat? thanks, John

Is this just for off road use?? If not....you are opening a can of worms. No seat belt and what if you do give somebody a ride and then you crash?.....Lawsuit. Don't remove it since it is against the law to do so in almost every state.

no, it's a daily commuter... I don't give people rides... I just want to switch out the broken driver's side seat belt buckle with the working passenger side one... I'll have one for show on passenger side...

Whatcha got up under that seat?? On my 93 Ranger, I pull the drivers seat or put it all the way forward then lay behind it and get to my passenger seat rear bolts with a simple wratchet and 1/2 inch socket. You can use a 1/2 wrench but that's backache slow, slow, slow.

metal bars... I can't even see the 2 rear bolts... I used some crazy angled gear wrenches.. to get them out... I could only get one back in.. but I figure 4 bolts is enough for a seat I only use to hold papers that need to be graded... I switched the seatbelts successfully... yay...
