part number needed

1986 2.9L ranger 2wd
I need the ford part number / descriptive numbers of the fuel pump relay. I may have an aftermarket version (no numbers on it). I will be going to scrap yard to pull a couple tomorrow.
Do the colors of the base of the relay mean anything ie: green, brown, black?

If there is a forum topic that can explain any of this I could not find it.

try 9345 fuel pump relay assembly according my book for 87', can't imagin that it would be any different for 86'.

as to color of the relay...either green or brown..sorry can't remember which is what...

Relay picked up and in

Well I went to the scap yard pulled a green and a brown relay. I put the green one in because the socket was green. It works, by the way the numbers work out too. The best part is they were free. See if the relay lasts.
